Optical constants: Some details:
The nanodiamonds were extracted from Murchison meteorite material using the procedures similar to those employed by Tang and Anders (1988, Geochim. Cosmochim. Acta, 52, 1235). The mass absorption coefficient in the range from 0.2 to 500 micron was derived from the transmission spectra of the diamonds in KBr and polyethylene pellets for T = 10 and 300 K.
