Versions 7.2 and 7.3 beta (as of July 3, 2013) will not preserve the pan setting
on loading a new file. This interferes with real-time use of ds9 in xmccd
since every new loaded image centers on the lower left corner (0,0) in these
versions.

Versions 7.2 and 7.3 beta have many very nice new features, including full
resolution RGB image generation, so you may need to keep a copy of 7.1 just for
for xmccd until this is corrected.
