XmCCD

This distribution includes source code to utilize the
Santa Barbara Instrument Group (SBIG) udrv.a library
with a Motif-based graphical user interface camera control program.

The version of the library also included here is udrv4.0 dated 28 December 2001,
provided by Steve Ashe (ashe@dimensional.com and http://dimensional.com/~ashe/)
through ftp.dimensional.com/users/ashe . Since the driver and camera control
protocols are proprietary, source code is not available for the library.
The library and its header file are included under the separate subdirectory
"sbig/" within the tar file for XmCCD.


The most recent version of XmCCD is available at

The XmCCD software is offered under the GNU Public License.

INSTALL describes how to build and install XmCCD. Note that XmCCD is
based on Motif. Either Motif or Lesstif must be present in order to
build the executable. XmCCD also will make use of SAOds9, if available,
for image display.
