Many parts of this package are very well tested, but there are surely errors and
omissions to be found and corrected.

The current version 5.2.1 will see only minor additional revisions through 2010.

===============

To do:

Add home on startup of bisque/mks

Add southern hemisphere tracking direction change to bisque/mks

Check southern hemisphere mappings in bisque/mks

Check lower horizon limit

Known problems on release of 5.2.1:

With 64-bit OS's there are warnings from Motif on compilation. These may not be
serious, but could lead to a crash in operation. A fix seems possible and is
being explored.

An issue with communication between XmTel and XEphem has been reported in a
multicore AMD system running Linux Mint 9. The cause is unknown, but the
problem was cured by setting "High Precision Event Timer (HPET)" off on the
motherboard bios.

The control panels in xmtel and xmtel1 may not show the correct assignment of
N/S to the slew buttons when a German equatorial is operated under the AUX
Celestron NexStar protocol. The protocol handles the flip across the meridian
automatically, but the buttons keep the initially assigned labels.

Pointing corrections, while available in software, are not fully tested. There
is still no simple procedure for fitting pointing corrections to an error map.
Urgent need to develop this procedure added to TODO

Slew limit control to protect the telescope and hardware is not completely
implemented in softare. This system is not recommended for unattended operation
unless safety limit switches are installed that will stop motion that could
exceed the telescope's mechanical constraints. We use a tilt switch on the OTA
and mechanical limit switches on the RA axis to prevent motions that would go
beyond safe limits.
