Australia: The Great Dreamtime Total Eclipse

November 2012

Australia: Largest island, sixth largest country, and a continent that is also a country. From barren deserts to lush rain forests to the sun-drenched Pacific rim, Australia, offers landscape and wildlife diversity like no other. Experience the Sun's total eclipse from the Great Barrier Reef! With the choices offered, you may select to visit the Wild West Northern Territory, Aboriginal Red Center and the the lush gardens of the south, or continue to New Zealand or Tasmania. The tour offerings are divided into five groups with variations on each group.

The groups are: Boomerang, Hobbit, Kangaroo, Oz, and Penguin. Here are the tour options:

BOOMERANG with Cairns and Tasmania
November 1 – 15, 2012

Tasmania's quaint way of life offers charming teahouses and homespun locals along side the island's notorious prison history. Afterwards fly the Great Barrier Reef with a day filled with water sports and a day spent in the oldest living rain forest before experiencing the total eclipse.

BOOMERANG with Green Island and Tasmania
November 1 – 15, 2012

Tasmania's quaint way of life offers charming teahouses and homespun locals along side the island's notorious prison history. Afterwards fly to the Great Barrier Reef to bask in the luxury of Green Island Resort with a multitude of water sport choices before experiencing the total eclipse. HOBBIT with Cairns and New Zealand
November 9 – 23, 2012

A full day on the Great Barrier Reef filled with water sports or bask on deck as you float gently on the clear, turquoise waters; adventure into the oldest living rain forest before experiencing the total eclipse. After four nights on the Great Barrier Reef, continue your tour on New Zealand. Begin the journey on the TranzAlpine rail through the Canterbury Plains farmland and the spectacular gorges of the Waimakariri River to Franz Josef.
