Today your flight will take you over the pole to Tromso, Norway where you will be transferred to your hotel for one night.

Wednesday, June 26, 2013 Tromso – Sail
Plenty of time to enjoy the sights of Tromso before your late afternoon sail.

Thursday, June 27, 2013 At Sea
Meet your expedition leaders and fellow travelers as you explore the 132-guests Silver Explorer. 

Friday, June 28, 2013 Bear Island
You have an opportunity to take a zodiac with your expedition leader through a tunnel in the rocks to another bay for some very dramatic scenery.

Saturday, June 29 – Friday, July 5, 2013 Explore Svalbard
Days will be spent viewing the wildlife, photographing the majestic ice and snouts of the glaciers at the end of the fjords as the Sun’s rays burn off the mist.  The courageous ones might take a plunge in the frigid waters or bird watch as you cruise past jagged cliffs loaded with activity of the Kittywakes, Guillemots, Glaucous Gulls and the favored Puffins.

Saturday, July 6, 2013 Longyearbyen, Norway – USA
Early arrival allows time to visit Longyearbyen before your charter flight back to Tromso.
