I need some advice regarding where on my property to place a permanent Dome. I`m fortunate to be located in a rural area however, the area where I wish to locate my Dome is not in the most open part of our property. I`ve noticed that a lot of the Domes I see on the Internet are not exactly located where horizon-to-horizon views are possible. In fact many appear to quite obstructed except for the middle 50% of the sky. What are some parameters for Dome location. I assume that being able to see Polaris is wise but beyond that, what should be the visual obstruction limitation. I live at about 36 degrees North Latitude. Any advice would be appreciated.

Gary W.
