Orbiting Light Retrieval?
Forum List | Follow Ups | Post Message | Back to Thread Topics Posted by Dana Barish on February 18, 2005 00:32:19 UTC |
How might one retrieve information about light orbiting black holes? Perhaps a VERY long probe with sensors at the end closest the black hole that transmit signals to the far end of the probe for transmission at lower energy? Black holes must contain captured information about the universe (in the form of light) since the black hole was created (assuming black holes are stable). One might draw a parallel to coring glaciers for information about the earth's past. How would one "core" a black hole? |
