The Amateur Astronomers Group is an auxillary of the New Mexico Museum of Space History. The majority of our members are from South Central New Mexico. We are comprised of amateur astronomers with a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. Some of us are members of the New Mexico Museum of Space History Foundations and official volunteers and/or employees of the New Mexico Museum. Other members are just friends of the New Mexico Museum of Space History. The membership ranges from beginners to highly advanced individuals conducting scientific research. We welcome everyone, especially families and youngsters. No child is too young to join. Best of all membership is FREE!
