Camping and Observing from the Dark Sky Preserve at Gordon's Park including wine & cheese welcome, astronomy workshops, pot luck supper, public observing sessions, laser guided sky tours, horseshoe tournament. The dark sky preserve offers 360 degree viewing, horizon to horizon, darkest skies in Ontario, no light pollution and a 21.45 Sky Quality Meter Reading. Camping is rustic but comfortable and is situated in the fields and meadows of the park. Access to hiking trails and nature center included, alternative accommodations including bed & breakfast, tipi tenting, and camping cabins are available.
