The brightest gravitationally lensed radiosources for the RadioAstron mission
Good news for the RadioAstron project.
The XXVI RadioAstron meeting was held at Moscow in July 18-20, 2001. Proceedings of the meeting can be seen.
New scheme for Puschino tests is designed; it takes into account the polygon which was built in 2000 yr. This scheme includes equipment for SRT autonomic test and for test of the interferometer SRT-RT22.
Due to experience of RA zero-based interferometer tests and VSOP mission we have simplified technical requirements for SRT Formatter (number of the observation modes is decreased, 16 Mhz filter is quantization is kept, etc.).
ZBT-2 was implemented at the ASC during June-August and report "Second series of the zero-baseline interferometer tests (ZBT-2)" was prepared and issued at the ASC in September, 2000 (66 pages including figures and schemes in Russian).
In September, 2000 a description of the RadioAstron project was up-dated; five pictures were added (antenna construction, SRT electronic complex). See a section "Description" of the web site.
Technical inspection of the polygon in Pushchino for SRT radioastronomical tests was fulfilled in September, 2000. List of future actions has issued.
Report "Laboratory zero-baseline interferometer tests" (ZBT) was prepared and issued at the ASC in January, 2000 (35 pages including 17 figures and diagrams in Russian language).
