Ukrainian Association "Women in Science and Education", V.N.Karazin
Kharkov National University, Kharkov Region Administrative Board are
initiators of the 10-th International Interdisciplinary Scientific and
Practical School-Conference "Modern problems of science and education" with
the aim of uniting the efforts of researchers and educational workers,
businessmen, industrialists, statesmen and public men to solve modern
problems of science and education, their integration and development, and
intensifying their role in the society democratization. Conference is
devoted to 65-th anniversary of the Great Victory.

Working languages of the conference - Ukrainian, Russian, and English.
The Conference is registered as International. Certificate ?49, February
22, 2010.

There are planned to publish separate collections the children's
compositions submitted on competition and competitive student's works.

Accommodation of participants of conference is planned in single and double
rooms of tourist base `Sevastopol` (an estimated cost from 200 UAH/26
USD/18,6 EUR). Accommodation of the Children's Program participants is
planned to be 100 UAH/13 USD /9, 3 EUR. For students - in `Leningrad House`
- 140 UAH/18,2USD/13 EUR and 4-6 bed rooms, common conveniences on each
floor - 130 UAH/16.9 USD/12,1 EUR. The rates are quoted per 1 person per
night and include: accommodation on bed & FB basis.

To take part in the Conference should submit to the Organizing Committee

On receiving the information that your documents were accepted, please, pay
the organization fee and send to the Organizing Committee:
. A scanned copy of the payment warrant for the voluntary donation of 195
UAH (160 UAH for those members of UAWISE who have paid their annual
membership fees for 2009); 150 UAH for the students (120 UAH for
students members of UAWISE who have paid their annual membership fees
for 2009). The voluntary donation will be used to cover organizational
costs and publish the materials of the conference (the scanned image
must have size not greater than 500 kB).

For those participants who will not take part in the conference for some
reason, the materials may be sent after the conference during 2 monthes on
their personal requirement on condition of additional delivery fee (15 UAH
for Ukrainian, 85 UAH for CIS members, and 95 UAH for others).

Theses Format Standards
Size - two full (!) pages.
Word Processor: Word for Windows 97 or higher versions. Paper size: À4
(297 õ 210 mm). Layout: portrait. Margins: all 2 cm. Font: Times New Roman.
Type size: 14pt. Indent: the new line (tabulation) 1cm. Line spacing: one
and a half. Style is only normal (usual). .
Page Layout. In the top left corner - UDC. Below (next line) - report
title in the upper case, boldface font, centre justification. One line
below - author's (authors') last name and initials, boldface font, centre
justification. Next line - full name of institution, city, address,
telephone, e-mail. Font - italic. Word hyphenation in the title, author's
names, organization name, and address is not allowed. One line below (first
line indented) the text of theses begins. References (if any) must be
placed in square brackets. The word Literature (if any references) the
first line indented, boldface font is on the next line after the main text
of theses. A reference list is on the next line below. The text should be
carefully proofread by the authors. The author is responsible for any
mistakes. File format must be *.doc.
The title of the file should consist of numbers of a section-subsection-
Surname of the author (in the case of several authors - first two surnames)
in Russian characters. For example, file with the theses of Ivanov P.P.
and Sidorov I.I., stated in the second subsection of the first section,
should be called «01-02-èâàíîâ-ñèäîðîâ.doc», and theses of these authors
stated in 2 round table - "08-02-èâàíîâ-ñèäîðîâ.doc". The title of the file
with the text of the abstract executed by rules of execution of theses (up
to 400 symbols of the text without the obligatory title (name, authors,
organization)) corresponds the title of the file of theses adding prefix
"àí-ðóñ", "àí-óêð" or "àí-àí" as to the language of the abstract (e.g., the
abstract in Russian of Ivanov P.P. and Sidorov I.I. stated in the 2d
subsection of the 1st section should be called " àí-ðóñ-01-02-èâàíîâ-
ñèäîðîâ.doc.").
Filename keeping the text of contest student's work - «ê-01-02-èâàíîâ-
ñèäîðîâ.doc». A filename with the text of the children's composition - «ä-
èâàíîâ.doc». Contest student's work and children's composition are made out
by the above-stated rules, excepting the limitations on a work contents
(student's work cannot have more than 10 pages, for the composition the
volume is not limited).

DESIGN of the APPLICATIONS:
The applications are executed on each participant of the conference
separately, in the separate file each. The application is executed in the
form of tables of MS - Word document. The absence or not-filling of any
line or column is not enabled. In case of absence of the data it is
necessary to put a dash. In the table cells do not put the «end-of-
line» sign (do not press the key < ENTER >).
