AšDIPLOMA SUPPLEMENT isšašdocument given tošgraduates ofšhigher educational institutions ofšall forms ofšproperty and subordination tošprovide information required for objective evaluation ofšhigher education qualification (degree) received byšthe person awarded with ašhigher education diploma. The Supplement contains ašdescription ofšthe nature, level, content, status ofštraining received and successfully accomplished byšthe person indicated inšthe original ofšthe qualification document tošwhich the supplement isšissued. itšalso contains personal data about this person that are entered into the centralized databank ofšthe Ministry ofšEducation and Science, Youth and Sports ofšUkraine.

The SUPPLEMENT isšfilled out according tošthe structure developed byšthe European Commission, the Council ofšEurope and UNESCO-CEPES, which isšnecessary tošensure international ?transparency? and fair academic and professional recognition ofšthe diploma (higher education qualification) inšorder tošaccess further education and/or tošundertake professional activities.

The European Diploma Supplement isšašform ofšdocument onšhigher education printed onšprotected paper onšA4šsize pages (210?297šmm). The form isšprotected against the unauthorized use byšašrange ofšprotective elements: protective mesh, micro fonts ofšvarious structure, protective paints. Pages are numbered using protective paint applied byšrelief printing. The Diploma Supplement begins with explanatory notes which are ašcompulsory part ofšthe document and are placed asšframed text inšthe header onšthe first page tošprovide general information onšits purpose and content. The Supplement consists ofš8šsections. Information under Section 8šis provided byšthe Ministry ofšEducation and Science, Youth and Sports ofšUkraine.

The Supplement isšdrawn inšUkrainian and English.

The issue ofšthe Diploma Supplement isšašpaid service. Onšthe contract basis students receive payment orders tošmake payment for the service. The information services are UAH 75.00, the issue ofšDiploma Supplements isšUAH 33.90.

The total tošpay for the Diploma Supplement isšUAH 108.90.

The basis for placing anšorder isšdata onšpersons graduating from ašhigher educational institution willing tošreceive ašDiploma Supplement.

The making ofšthe Diploma Supplement takes ašmonth from the date onšwhich the person graduating from ašhigher educational institution submits anšapplication for receiving the Diploma Supplement.
