International Scientific Conference 'Fiction Phenomena in World Literature History : Transition of Language into Authorship'


We are pleased to invite you to participate in the International Scientific Conference Fiction Phenomena in World Literature History: Transition of Language into Authorship to be held at Karazin University on April 8-9, 2016.

Conference organizers: Department of Romance Philology and Translation (School of Foreign Languages) of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University and Department of Romance Philology of Petro Mohyla Mykolayiv State University.

Conference focus areas:

  • Literature studies: academism as a creative search for new concepts; imagery of characters, motives, composition, repulsion, competition, concentration.
  • Linguistics: circulation of lexical items — a communicative link between foreign discursive elements; means of speech expressiveness; syntax, morphology, morphemics.
  • Methodology: peculiarities of teaching foreign languages and history of literature; exceptions, hypotheses, causal relations; attempts and errors.

Materials submission deadline: December 15, 2015

Conference languages: English, Spanish, Chinese, German, Russian, Ukrainian, French.

The conference program also provides for a round table Conflict of Civilizations as a Step Towards Dialogue of Cultures.
