Biography

Born: December 15, 1951, village Muravlinka, Novovodolaha District, Kharkiv Region. Graduated from M. Gorky Kharkiv State University (School of Physics and Technology) (1976). PhD (1980), DSc (1991). Dean of School of Physics and Technology (1996-2005), Vice-President of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (since 2005). Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (since 2006).

Research interests: Physics of Plasma, Plasma Electronics, Plasma Depositions Wave Diffraction, Surface Waves, Nonlinear Physics, Gas Discharge Physics, Plasma Technologies, Radiative Study of Materials, Semiconductor Physics etc.

Honored Scholar of Ukraine in Science and Technology,

Merited Educator of Ukraine.
