Fundamental Research State Foundation (FRSF) and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) announce a bilateral competition of fundamental research.

The competition coverts the following areas of research:

— the Humanities;
— Social and Natural Sciences;
— Engineering Sciences;
— Medicine.

Finding a partner for participation in the competition is the responsibility of the applicant. Applications are submitted simultaneously both to FRSF and JSPS according to the form that can be found  here  and  here.

Ukrainian and Japanese scholars preliminarily agree on the content of their applications and submit them during the second half of the year 2012 for review by the procedure and requirements of each organization.

The scientific research duration by the projects is 2 years. Financing of the projects to have won the contest begins in the second quarter of the year 2013.

Materials of Ukrainian scholars both in an electronic version and in hard copies (in duplicate) are submitted to the Fundamental Research State Foundation at the following address:
