Zholtkevych) centers its scientific explorationsšon: mathematical and computer modeling and its application inšsoftware development and research ofšinformation and communication, natural and socio-economic systems, mathematical logic, theory ofšcalculability and its application inšthe theory ofšprogramming and formal software verification, soft computing and its applications inšmathematical statistics and software engineering, quantum information science.

Atšthe end ofšthe 4th year ofštraining students defend their Bachelor?s degree qualification papers. Bachelor?s degree holders are enrolled inšMaster?s programs based onšthe results ofšthe competition where their academic performance during the past 4šyears and the Bachelor?s diploma are taken into consideration. Both graduates ofšthe School ofšMechanics and Mathematics and graduates ofšany other higher educational institution having diplomas inšMathematics, Information Science, Applied Mathematics can apply for admission tošašMaster?s program. The departments preparing Masters inšthe corresponding speciality provide teaching ofšspecial courses and supervise diploma papers throughout the entire term ofšstudies.
