The Department was founded in 1967. At present it employs 3 doctors of science, 11 candidates of science and associate professors. The Department is headed by academician V.P. Babych, full professor, doctor's degree in Economics.

Enterprise Management is a promising and unique degree opportunity, as the students are trained as administrators with the expertise in Economics that guarantees a wide choice of career opportunities and rapid promotion. The Department maintains high standards of training that fully meet modern requirements.

For starting businessmen and managers, a master?s course in Administrative Management was introduced which allows the students to enrich and systematize the knowledge acquired in their practical activity and achieve success in business (analog of MBA).

Courses for postgraduate students and people working for doctor?s degree are given at the Department. The Specialized Doctoral Council functions to train specialists of top qualification.

The graduates occupy major positions in various spheres of national economy. A significant proportion of the graduates work in the administrative bodies of Kharkiv, Sumy and other regions, at higher educational establishments and the leading enterprises. Graduates of the Department become doctors of science, full professors, academicians, occupy the positions of deans and university vice-presidents, and work in the Administration of the President of Ukraine.
