The department gives lectures and conducts laboratory work with eight courses of software and hardware exploration: "Computer architecture" and "Computer Graphics and Engineering" (M.U. Silkin), "System programming and operating systems" and "System analysis in software development" (A.M. Gorban), "Databases Organization", "Application programming languages", "Databases for Computer Networks" (V.M. Lazurik), "Numerical methods", ?Mathematical Methods of Operations Researching? (A.V. Gahov).

There are six courses on artificial intelligence and information technology prepared: "Expert systems theory" (V.M. Kuklin), "Expert systems organization" and "Neural networks organization? (V.N. Kuklin, E. Belkin, A. Petrenko), "Computer modeling of stochastic (Lazurik VM) and unsteady (Hunchback AM) processes?. Also, V.M. Kuklin and A.M. Kindratenko are reading some other general courses.
