Observations

Auroral observation

Two images of aurora are obtained during the strong geomagnetic storm 29/30 October 2003 at the University observatory Lisniky (latitude50.3N, longitude 30.5E)). Observatory is located at the geomagnetic shell L=2.1 calculated for the ionospheric level of 100 km. Photo details: Zenit-E camera, 50 mm lens, f1.7, 20 sec. exposures on Kodak Gold 400 film.
