Forty years ago, in April 1969, saw the fall of the Bovedy and Sprucefield meteorites and 67 years before this, in 1902, another closely related meteorite landed near Crumlin. These falls were just the final episodes in what have been very eventful lives spanning the entire history of the Solar System. This talk will relate what an amazing story can be coaxed from these, apparently dull-looking, meteorites using a range of scientific techniques.
