Jupiter animation
A really beautiful animation of Jupiter and two of its satellites sent to us by Carl O'Beirnes, J09 Balbriggan Observatory:
"With Jupiter now starting to climb at our latitudes I set back up the C14 to take a few images. The seeing conditions where excellent, and we all know that doesnтАЩt happen to often in this country. The animation is a sequence of thirteen images all with the great red spot clearly visible visible."

Thank you Carl!
More to come from Jupiter this week: dark spot just appearing in the South hemisphere (Sunday 19th July), and Gallilean satellites occultations visible from Ireland starting Friday 24th July.
