Dry November

Armagh Observatory reports that the weather in November was somewhat drier than average.

Precipitation amounted to 37.0 mm, which was slightly less than half the average for the month.

The mean monthly temperature was 6.8 degrees Celsius, that is, about half a degree more than normal. There were three days with air frost and ten days with grass frost.

The total number of hours of sunshine was 51.1, that is, slightly less than average.

These data refer to observations at Armagh Observatory, which has been recording the weather at Armagh since 1795.
