These pages were originally based on a project carried out by Andy Dornan and David West in 1998 as part of the M.Sc. course in Science Communication run jointly by Queen's University at Armagh and Dublin City University. The site was originally designed by Andy Dornan.
Additional contributions were made by Laura Wilson (Friends' School, Lisburn) and Grainne Thie (Presentation School, Tralee) as part of their Work Experience in April 2001.

The Astropark was built with funds from the European Regional Development Fund.

The Astropark interpretation Project has been sponsored by the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council, the Council for the Public Understanding of Science, the Armagh and City District Council and the Northern Ireland Electricity Board.

Much of the material on this site is taken from interpretation panels which have been erected around the Astropark and a leaflet which is available to visitors.
