I work at Armagh Observatory as a research assistant, continuing on from the successful defence of my thesis in May 2015.
My current research focusses on star formation, particularly in the accretion processes in pre-main sequence evolution. In detail, I am looking at low and intermediate mass pre-main sequence stars in crowded or metal poor surroundings, or nearby high-mass stars using either optical spectroscopy or photometry.
