Welcome to the WWW Server of the Irish Astronomical
Journal. If you're new to this site this page will provide you
with a brief outline of what we have available. Please note that
this site is currently under construction and is continually
expanding. So please pay us a visit now and again to see how
we're getting on and feel free to place links to this site in
your documents.
The Irish Astronomical Journal is a twice-yearly
publication by an independent team of editors. The journal was
first published in 1950 and has since undergone many changes.
The contents are normally such to interest both professional
and amateur astronomers and provide a forum for astronomical
research both within Ireland, the UK and elsewhere.
On this server you will find a

section which provides news for our subscribers and contributors.
Our Information
page provides you with some background information concerning our
publications and the people involved in their production.
If you wish to make a
Subscription
to the Irish Astronomical Journal you can do so automatically
using this WWW Server. You can alternatively contact us by
email or by post using the information provided in the

We also have available some articles and information to whet
your appetite in astronomy and sample the kinds of publications
we produce. This information can be found in our

directory. We also publish on our web site product
reviews (books and
CD-ROMS) that have appeared in the Irish Astronomical Journal.
We welcome unsolicited manuscripts which we will consider for
publication. Please ensure you read carefully the information
