No. 2 Time (UT) 11:22 X-ray BP behaviour A diffused brightening area presented. Two clear bright cores presents. The cores become stronger. Magnetic fragment behaviour Note

A bipolar region is involved. Two polarities touch Start of the data set. each other. Cancellation occurs at a few sites. Both negative and positive fragments moved around. Two major cancellation sites are formed in the area. In one cancellation site, the positive fragments are more active and moving toward the negative ones. In another site, both fragments move toward each other. During the period, emergence and disappearance of magnetic fragments are very frequently observed. They also contribute to the formations of two major cancellation sites. Cancellation in these two sites create a peak in the light curve. After 16:41, although cancellation continues in all 3 sites, only the newly formed site has X-ray response and increases the intensity of the area at the end of the data set.

14:15

16:41

The brightening region disappeared.

In both cancellation sites, both fragments become much weaker and smaller. A few positive and negative fragments still touch each other and cancellation continues, but cancellation is much weaker then before. A new cancellation site formed at the south.
