In addition, there are a range of very good hotels over the Border in the Irish Republic which lie approximately 15 miles from Armagh. You would however require a car to use these. In addition you should be aware that visitors from some non-EU countries now require separate visas to visit the Irish Republic. US passport holders do not require a visa.
