Official Visits

Mr Ian Pearson MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State with responsibility for the Department of Finance and Personnel (DFP), the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI), the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD), and the Economic Policy and Europe, visited the Observatory on the afternoon of 26 March 2003. The VIP was accompanied, among others, by Dr F.N. Byrne (Management Committee) and Mr David Gray (DCAL). Subsequently, Ms Angela Smith MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State with responsibility for the Department of the Environment (DOE), the Department for Regional Development (DRD), and the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure (DCAL), visited the Observatory, on 3 April 2003.
