Scientific Administration

During the year, Mark Bailey served on a PPARC Rolling Grant Review Panel, and continued to serve on a number of scientific committees: as a member of the Royal Irish Academy Committee for Astronomy and Space Research, the Royal Astronomical Society Education Committee, the Governing Board of the DIAS School of Cosmic Physics, and scientific working groups of the International Astronomical Union, namely Commissions 15 and 20 (both concerning comets and minor planets). He also continued to serve as a member of the Editorial Board of the journal New Astronomy Reviews, and as Editor-in-Chief of Earth, Moon, and Planets.
