Our Chandra X-ray image (same scale, but 0.5" on a side) shows the two nuclei, which both have typical fX/fopt and power-law spectral slopes. The NE galaxy has an absorption-line spectrum 12960\,km/sec, while our FAST spectrum of the larger galaxy shows a Seyfert 1.9 (broad H$\alpha $ only) at 13029\,km/s. This interacting system is among the dozen or so $i<18$ mergers we have pursued with the SDSS + FLWO1.5m/FAST, which we hope to expand to a less-biased and larger statistical sample with the MMT/BlueChannel. {\em UPPER RIGHT:} Hard X-ray photon index $\Gamma $ vs. $L_X$ for our general sample of Chandra/SDSS galaxies and AGN, with optical morphological classifications. Mergers (black squares) appear to be similar to spiral galaxies rather than AGN. {\em LOWER PANEL:} Thumbnails for our $18 \newlabel{fig:VV}{{2}{4}}
