Notice to Archive Maintainer: This level replaces the earlier version
which was posted a few weeks ago.

*****UPDATE INFO********

This level was updated on 19th November 2000, primarily to remove
a rogue linedef tag. This tag had no effect on play in the normal
version of Doom2, but due to a bug in ZDoom, the door would not
open when running this level with ZDoom. A few mis-aligned
textures were also corrected and a small amount of extra equipment
was added for skill levels 1, 2 and 3. I've also marked all the
doors requiring keys.

Tunnel Run....version 1.2 (updated 19th November 2000)

This level is taken from my Doom2 TC entitled DoomTown3. It is
the third level from DT3, but is presented here as a straight
forward Doom2 level.

This is primarily a 1 player level, but it supports co-op and
deathmatch too.

As with most of my levels, 90% of this was designed back in '95.
Also, as with most of my levels, i designed it late at night,
sitting in room in which the only illumination was a table lamp
positioned behind my monitor. What this means is that this level
looks great when played in a dark room, but if you have any light
falling on your monitor screen you're probably not gonna be able to
see much (so you may have to use gamma correction - F11). If you
play in GL mode you'll be fine, the levels don't seem so dark for
some reason.

'One step away from a Vis Plane Overflow......'

In some sections of this level the architectural detail is quite
high. I've had to redesign certain sections to avoid a vis plane
overflow, so you shouldn't suffer from this. If however you do get
an overflow , please email me and let me know where
in the map you were when it occured. But i'd be really surprised
if anyone does get an overflow...i think i've eliminated all the
problem areas (fingers crossed).

Because of the level of detail the framerate tends to drop slightly
on slow machines. I've tried it on a P100 and at some points in the
level it does drop a bit. It seems fine on a P233mmx though, so
modern PCs (PII or PIII whatever) should have no problem.

New graphics included are mainly wall textures modified from
existing ones in Doom2. There is also a metallic status bar,
this was taken from the original Blastem level, but has been
modified to be used in Doom2.

Music is included, it's from Doom E1M5.
