Description : This wad is 259kb when unzipped.

Usually, I don't like secrets in doom maps because they bore me.
However, in the spirit of 'Tricks & Traps', which was the original
map08, I thought I would include a few puzzles in this one.

Note - you must solve the secrets to finish the map. I have put clues
in but have no idea how easy / hard they are???

If, like me, you just can't be bothered, then see the bottom of this
text file for how to get the keys.

There are also a couple of cruel tricks in this map - so save often!

I design all my wads with skill levels such that I can complete it on UV without using cheat
codes or secrets (but only just....and I know what's coming!). Level 1 on the other hand is
easy for the experienced player but should provide a challenge for the less talented / novices
etc..

I would really like to see some .lmp's of people playing my wads. Please feel free to mail me
your demo recordings.

MAP08 - SECRETS
---------------

RED KEY

The red key is on a platform which can be viewed from the 'control room' window at the start.
Access to this platform is via a secret teleporter. To find the teleporter, go to the bridge
with the red key switch on either side. To get to these switches, you must jump off a short
ramp on either side. Go to the ramp on the other side. Jumping off this ramp will lower a
platform to reveal the teleporter. But where is it???? Well, behind you actually.

YELLOW KEY

Once you are over the red key bridge you come to a large pit with four platforms. In the room
at the bottom of the pit is a teleporter which takes you to a yellow key switch - press it.
You can now jump onto a ledge in the pit with a switch. Pressing this switch lowers a platform
to another secret teleporter. But where is it? Quickly jump into the teleporter at the bottom
of the pit to find out.

Note, you cannot access the yellow key directly - this is instant death (well it is tricks &
traps!).

BLUE KEY

The blue key is on a tall, silver platform. To get the key, lower the platform with a secret
switch. This switch can be found in the adjacent nukage pit. Here, there is a small platform.
Lowering this platform in the usual way will reveal the switch - its behind you!!
