I stumbled onto the Demo version of Hexen when me and some computer lab
assistants got bored last Sunday and went on The Happypuppy Games Onramp
to grab Hexen. I grabbed the full 5 meg file from UWP. Unzipped it and
was pleasantly surprised! The text file included has the header dated at
Oct 18th. Typing in 'pmacarther' says its the Oct 16th version. I would
imagine it's updated on iD's sites.

The code for all weapons is "RAM"? I rather thought it was
"NRA"...check it out. The no-clipping code hasn't been hacked out
yet, as far as I know.

That switch is supposed to do something on the ice level, but it doesn't in
the beta. In order to get the thing that the switch is about to do to work,
type MWAGABAZA19
That will run script 19 which will open two doors on the lower platform.

: Bad news-- the only way you can get anywhere in Hexen is if you get the
: cheats. They're around if you look. There are about twenty of them,
: including "MWAGABAZAxx" the (xx) being the number of a script, i.e. if

Here are some of the cheats that I hear work in the Hexen Final CD.

GOD Mode: Satan
All Weapons: NRA
Pig Mode: deliverance
All Keys: locksmith
x-y-z coords: where
ticker: ticker (i have no idea :>)
~##: CD track to play. ## is the number of the track.


Some of these are the same as in the old game. Does anyone know the no
clipping cheat?

in one of my many muliple-forwarded mail messages I got a message from
Colin containing the cheat codes to the 'beta' Hexen. The codes were
noticably different than the ones for the released beta demo (and didn't
work in the beta demo I had), but here they are in case they do work with
the final version which I haven't gotten yet (has anyone, not the 30th yet
to my knowledge)....

All weapons conan
level warp gate## (## is akin to episode/level)
god mode martek
change class zelig(0-2)
no-clipping angel
full health mccoy
25 of every item greedy
all keys janitor
all puzzle parts puzzle
kill all creatures carnage
automap cheat reveal
pig mode deliverance
x-y-z position where

In deathmatch type 'kills' while in the automap mode to see everyones kills.

Hope they help those with the final CD who beat me to the store :)

so they do work:


CONAN cheater...you don't deserve weapons...

MARTEK (1st time) trying to cheat?...thats one
(2nd time) thats two...
(3rd time) thats three...time to die

SATAN God mode

NRA All weapons

QUICKENRA All weapons

DELIVERANCE Pig mode

LOCKSMITH All keys

WHERE x,y,z position

TICKER Display fps dots ( fps = 70 / )

CASPER No clipping
