Most of UNIVERSAT-2009 participants will need a visa when entering the Russian Federation. Please contact your local Russian Embassy or Consulate well in advance of the Conference dates. The Organizing Committee will send the Official Invitation Letters approved by Russian Emigration Authorities (the only document providing the possibility to apply for Russian visa) to those participants who indicate the necessity for it in their registration form. Please take into account that the Organizing Committee needs about two months to provide this Official Invitation Letter and you will need about one month to apply for visa.

For those who need the invitation letters confirming their participation in the UNIVERSAT-2009 meeting for other purposes (like funding or booking) the letters of such kind will be easily issued on the request.

Please indicate in your registration form if you need the Official Invitation Letter to be issued earlier.

In the exceptional cases the Official Invitation Letters approved by Russian Emigration Authorities can be issued in two weeks for additional fee (usually it is about 100-200 euro depending upon the citizenship of the participant).
