Laboratory was organized in 1995.

Facilities

• Electron microscopy (through the Dept. Of Electron Microscopy) - HU-11 and H-700 transmission electron microscopes; ultramicrotomes etc.
  
• Digital microscopy - Nikon Eclipse TE-200 and TE-300 with cooled CCD cameras (Princeton Instruments and CoolSnap HQ) adapted for continuous observations of cultured cells.
  
• Microscope station for UV-microirradiation (260-280 nm wavelength, diameter of the microbeam from 0.5 um)
  
• Microinjection system (Narishige)
  
• Tissue culture facility including CO2 incubator
  
• Liquid nitrogen storage
  
• Local computer network
  
• J-21 centrifuge
