Brief instruction for request form filling

1. Program title (not more than 15 words)
2. Brief (not more than 100 words) description of the scientific content of the program.
3. Full name of the principal investigator, institution (1 person).
4. Full names of co-investigators, institution (no limitation).
5. Request status: long-term (more than two years), short-term (1-2 years), or one-time program.
6. Amount of time needed, optimum and admissible periods of observations. Can the program be combined with other programs? Is this the principal or duplicating program?
7. Mode of observations. Please, give a detailed description of equipment, requisite sectors (north, south, west, east), feed-cabines, frequencies and others. The description of of observing methods, proposed by SAO RAS can be found here. The applicant can propose a guest mode of observation. In this case coordination with the administration of SAO is needed.
   In case questions arise, one has to address people in charge of the observing method for the Program Committee Executive Secretary (request@sao.ru).
8. Scientific justification (a detailed on is encouraged). Publications on the the topic of the request can be provided.
9. Substantiate use of the telescope RATAN-600 and proposed methods of observations A brief description of methods is desirable.
10. Indicate coordinates and flux densities of the program objects (including calibrators). If the number of objects is larger than 20, present their list in the Supplement.
11. For the continued program, give information about its fulfillment and results obtained. Attach publications and/or report on the paper in the press or being prepared for press.
12. Please, provide information about the results of observations with the telescope RATAN-600 for other programs, which have been obtained over the past 3 years (list of publications, reports, accounts etc.).

    The key points of the Regulations are:
    1) the applicant holds exclusive copyright for the data for 2 years after the observations,
    2) on expiration of this period the data lose the exclusive status and can be used without limitation with obligatory reference to the source.

The Program Committee considers generally one time request submitted by the principal applicant. If the principal applicant submits two or more requests, each of them is treated separately. The requests may be presented in Russian or English in 4 paper copies: 3 copies - to the Secretary of the Committee Dr. I.I. Romanyuk (SAO) and 1 copy to the Chairman of the Committee Prof. Yu.N. Gnedin at the address: MAO RAS, Pulkovo, St. Petersburg, 196140, RUSSIA

The request must be signed by the principal applicant.

The Secretary of the Program Committee will also need an electronic version of the time request similar to the paper one (addres is given in the beginning of the form).

The Committee will consider the requests registered by the secretary. The requests sent after the deadlines (September,10 and March, 1) shall not be accepted by Secretary and considered by the Committee.

In some exceptional cases the Program Committee Secretary can accept a request after deadline with permission of the Chairman of Committee or director of SAO RAS.
