My scientific interests

I work in a field of relativistic astrophysics, and my current scientific interests are black holes and cosmology.

Black Holes

Black holes are objects predicted by General Relativity. For now we know some such objects (really, only similar) in binary systems. The number of single black holes must be much higher, but we still haven't see any single black hole! Search for such objects is very interesting and important task. The only special program of such search is MANIA (multichannel analysis on nanosecond intensity alterations) experiment of Relativistic Astrophysics Laboratory, SAO RAS. I try to participate in this work as I can. My bachelor thesis aims to provide some kind of theoretical basis for this experiment...

Cosmology

Currently I haven't anything to say about...

My works

"On spatial distribution of mergers in galaxies"(with I.E. Pancnenko). Simple theoretical estimations of spatial distribution of merging binary neutron stars made. Published in Proceedings of PUSCHINO-99 conference (in Russian)

"Why Do We See So Few Black Holes in Massive Binaries?"(with V.M. Lipunov). The limits got on massive binary system parameters for accreting black hole to be observable. Published in Pisma v Astronomicheskii Zhurnal(in Russian) and Astronomy Letters(in English)

"How does single black hole looks like? The magneto-flaring model of spherical accretion". This is my bachelor thesis... A lot of formulae... A lot of words... A bit of results... Hope it will be published sometimes. (currently in Russian)
