Choice

A choice frame is appropriate when there are a set of alternatives, such as different filters which require different parameters. The choice frame allows the user to select one of the alternatives and it displays only those parameters which are relevant.

The alternatives imply that parameters are not used by the task, when they are not visible. This differs from a cards layout, in which all the parameters are used, even though they are not all visible at once.
