Dear colleagues, As announced already in the XMM-NEWTON News #88 released few minutes ago, we will have a complete power outage at ESAC during the next weekend which will fully affect all the XMM-Newton SOC activity. The power outage will take place the Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd, but already on Friday 20th, some SOC important computer systems will be put off line for maintenance activities since 9:00 hrs. In particular, the main SAS server, xmm.esac.esa.int, which centralizes the reception and delivery of SAS packages and hosts many other fundamental development tasks, will not be available since 9:00 hrs on Friday morning until 9:00 hrs on Monday 23rd. Because of this, we have planned to stop ALL SAS development related activities, including SAS development track daily building, package delivery, manifest generation and delivery, Soft. Change and Problem Reporting (SCR/SPR), etc, etc, starting the next Thursday 19th at 16:00 hrs. We hope to resume nominal activity on the Monday 23rd at 10:00 hrs. I will keep you informed on any change of this schedule.
