A first step to analyzing orbit model performance is to generate and archive orbit model data. One method for doing this is to use an SPSS orbit model to generate an ephemeris of events (here, we use SAA-passages). and conveniently store the data where it can be used for further processing. This procedure can be performed aperiodically.

USe SGS:
- Create calendar for >340 days. e.g.:
- Generate file of orbital SAA events. e.g.:
copy to a unix file in /marian/data4/spst/lrpg/saamodel_archive/. Use the naming convention of "YYJJJ" for the file.
Generate the individual SAA-model files. e.g.:
Edit the html web page lrpg_monitoring_saa_models.html to bubble down the previous entries and add new ones for the newly generated files from the previous step.
