Subject: Gyro 6-4-5 Reconfiguration Flash Report

The Gyro Reconfiguration to the 6-4-5 configuration was successfully
executed via Ops Request 19067-2.б  The FSW reconfiguration macro was
loaded at 077/18:25 and dumped and compared.б  At 18:47 the pertinent Key
Monitors were disabled to prevent unnecessary paging events.б  The FSW
reconfiguration macro was then executed at 18:50:46.б  The updated vehicle
bias loads were immediately loaded at 18:52:41 after the macro
completion.б  The disabled KMs were then re-enabled.
б
The vehicle slew which started at 19:23 was observed until 19:30 when
telemetry dropped due to LOS.б  Slew execution was nominal.б  The GS
acquisition at 19:45 occurred entirely in LOS.б  On AOS at 20:15, FGS
guiding was confirmed, verifying that the reconfiguration was successful
with no negative impact or interruption to science operations.б  The
observer data seen after AOS for the remaining part of the guiding
interval was flat with no significant orbital effects.б  The bias update at
20:43 at the end of FGS guiding had correction values of [3.9б  27.7б  23.3]
arcsec/hr.
б
The Gyro 3 heater controller was switched back to the primary controller
at 20:43 after the FGS guiding had completed.б  The heater duty cycle reset
to 0% as a result of the different heater setup point for the primary
controller, however the temperature stabilized at approximately 57 deg and
the heater duty cycle stabilized at around 28%.
б
Thanks go to the FOT, FSW, supporting SE subsystems and System Management
for their excellent support.
