Filename Legend (Version 1.0)

The final reprocessed data files can be retrieved from this anonymous ftp site. The data are stored in different directories, sorted by instrument (and mode/grating): Most directories contain a README file that provides a brief description of the data products. For the imaging observations, these README files general contain a description of the definition and interpretation of the weight images produced by the "Drizzle" package. The README files have all be incorporated into the more extensive Data reduction / Technical information discussions available on this web site.

Click below on the header for each instrument/mode to get to the corresponding technical information. Please refer to those discussions before making use of these data.


STIS UV echelle spectroscopy
