1.0 ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED AND ACCOMPLISHED:

1.1 Completed FOC/96 3815 (UV Observations of Hubble Sandage Variables)

The Faint Object Camera was used to make ultraviolet observations of
very luminous eruptively unstable Hubble Sandage variable stars
located in the large face on spiral galaxy M-33 in Triangulum. The
observations were executed as scheduled, and no problems were
reported.

1.2 Completed FOC/96 4107 (Search for QSOs Suitable for Subsequent
Observations)

The Faint Object Camera was used to make one image of quasi-stellar
object 1500+08 to measure it ultraviolet flux levels to determine if
this object will be used in future studies using the HRS and FOS.
The observations were executed without problems. The image was
received and displayed in the OSS. There was no target visible at
this wavelenght.

1.3 Completed FOC/96 4800 (Stellar Content of Wolf-Rayet Galaxies)

The Faint Object Camera was used to make one observations of the
Wolf_Rayet galaxy NGC-4214 which exhibits broad He II emission lines
at 4686 A0. The observation was executed in fine lock. The target
was reported to look okay.

1.4 Completed PC 3603 (Snapshot of Protoplanetary Nebulae)

The Planetary Camera was used to make one image the the
protoplanetary system HE 3-1475 to study its current morphology. The
image was reported to look fine.

1.5 Completed FOC/96 4153 (FOC UV Throughput Monitoring)

The Faint Object Camera was used to make three observations which
were used to measure the ultraviolet throughput of the HST-FOC by
making observations of standard star BPM 16274. All observations
were executed in fine lock. The first observation was received in
real-time, and was used to calculated a corrective maneuver. The
final observations showed the star well centered.

1.6 Completed WFC/FOS/BL 3707 (HST observations of Periodic Comets)

The Faint Object Spectrograph (on both the Red and Blue sides) was
used to make observations of the periodic comet Schaumasse. A
corrective maneuver was uplinked to center the observation. The
overlight counts were immediately doubled, indicating that the
pointing correction was successful. Subsequent observations, and
other corrective maneuvers were successful.

1.7 Uplinked Updated Ephemeris Tables, Per MOSES 2871

1.8 Completed FOS/BL 3954 (Stellar Winds in M31, and M33)

The Faint Object Spectrograph (Blue Side) was used to make
ultraviolet spectral observations of the OB Class supergiant star
OB69/WR2 which is located in the Andromeda Galaxy (aka, M-31). The
observations were executed as planned, and no problems were
reported.

1.9 Completed WFC 1306 (WFC GTO Low Latitude Parallel Program)

The Wide Field Camera was used to make a series of low latitude
survey images taken in parallel with the prime science observations.
The observations were monitored in the OSS, and no problems were
reported.

2.4 Operations Note:

The GSFC Simulation (Type 5 - Deployment) was successfully completed
yesterday, Thursday March 4, 1993 (063/1300Z-064/0100Z). All of the
test objectives were met, and no major problems were reported.

The SMGT #8 Simulation is currently under way, Friday March 5, 8am -
4pm. Everything is preceding as expected, and no problems have been
reported.
