IV. MPDG - Some preliminary results

Study of HI morphology and kinematics of XMD galaxies with GMRT, part 2

Fig.1 Left panel: GMRT map of integrated HI emission of XMD galaxy DDO 68 with angular resolution of 27"x22" (in greyscale) with superimposed contours of its optical B-band image from DSS-2.
Right panel: Isovelocity contours of HI radial velocity at angular resolution of 12"x10" superimposed on the map of integrated HI flux at the same resolution. The step of isovelocity lines is 6.6 km/s in the total range from 458 to 534 km/s (raising from the South to the North). The visible in HI pattern well corresponds to two symmetric tails, starting near the northern and southern edges of the optical body, winding around it in counterclockwise direction. See for detailes astro-ph/08??.????.

Fig.2 Bottom left panel: GMRT map of intergated HI emission with angular resolution of 29"x25" (in contours) of the XMD galaxy SDSS J2104-0035, superimposed on its SDSS g-filter optical image (greyscale).
Top right panel: The same type of image, but for angular resolution of HI map of 17"x11". Strongly disturbed outer HI structure indicates to "recent" interaction with other galaxy.

Fig.3 Bottom left panel: GMRT map of intergated HI emission with angular resolution of 34"x26" (in contours) of the XMD galaxy UGC 772, superimposed on its SDSS g-filter optical image (greyscale).
Top right panel: The integrated HI emission map with angular resolution of 8"x7" (greyscale) with superimposed contours of optical emission (smoothed to resolution of 7"). The irregular disturbed structure of HI emission is well seen.
