Unfortunately or fortunately(?), the presented data does not allow one to reject the author's claim: the sample is solitary and simply isn't big enough. (Remember please, that statistically, you can only reject, but not support, a hypothesis.)
It however appears suspicious that the author mentioned a correlation measure. Obviously, this is not the case when one should examine the linear correlation.
The above, these are minor remarks, though.
First and foremost, it is a generally accepted (within the research community, of course) practice to reveal raw data but not just "related" whatsoever processed. Especially- when the author pretends to discover "the fundamental rhythm of Nature." |
