Teenagers want to look older and more self confident, that's why they start to drink. Moreover, alcohol drinks are rather cheap and can be easily bought in every shop.
From acient times alcohol is the most popular narciotic substance for people. Vodka was brought to Russia in XVI century. From 1649 to 1795 it was sold by government, then the rights were given to the merchants, but in XIX century the situation changed again.
Alcohol is harmful for everyone, because it has very strong influence on the brains and on the humans body. It results in the feeling of intoxication, happyness and eiphoria. All these feelings attract people to alcohol.
