The program "Apollo"

From middle of 1960.the  USA have concentrated efforts on the program the "Apollo", putting purpose a parcel of the person to moon. it was successfully executed in July 1969Ц, when  юrmstrong and  нldrin have left "Eagle", a lunar module of "Apollo - 11", and have made historical " the first small step " on a lunar surface. After the collecting of samples of lunar rocks, having left the writing down instrumentation, two astronauts have returned to a lunar module and joined to the third member of expedition Michael Kollinzu who flied around of moon in  a command bay.

 Researching of moon under the program "Apollo" the rocket "Saturn" carrying lunar, command  and service modules was used. The lunar automotive carriage was on three "Apollo" (15,16,17) and was used by astronauts for movement on a surface of moon on significant distances. Its speed made 8-16 kms / h.

On the photo of a lunar landscape received by "Apollo - 11",  there are some details of a surface of moon. Under lunar standards this area is considered equal.

In flight time of "Apollo - 11" юrmstrong and нldrin have established the lunar seismometer similar to that are used on the Earth, but more sensing as "is moon - seismically quiet". The vehicle has fast broken down, but similar the devices established by others expeditions of "Apollo" have shown, that weak seismic oscillations on moon are observed frequently.
