On March 30, 2013 anˆàAsteroid Workshop was offered by Dr. Mike Nolan and Dr. Ellen Howell, AO scientists, to the Saturday Academy participants of the Arecibo Observatory.

The Saturday Research Academy in the Arecibo Observatory, for the Spring 2013 semester, is impacting more than 20 high school students for local schools. Participants learn the principles of the research cycle using project based learning in areas of astronomy, space weather, planetary science and CubeSat in partnership with NASA/AMES. The workshop agenda is a component of the program to learn about the research implemented using the radio telescope at the Arecibo Observatory facility.
