Results show that years of research collaboration have led to strong contributions to science, and to the development of academia in Puerto Rico and the Nation. Under the new model for developing AO, an even greater role for research collaboration with the institutions in PR is contemplated. Essential to maintain strong scientific content as the foundation for all research and educational collaborations.
